Reality Ends Here

It has been a long, hard road since Bush announced “major military operations have ended” with his victory landing on the Abraham Lincoln. Still announcing victory 2 1/2 years later, the President is testing the nation’s ability to swallow his sweeping, epic narrative of the War in Iraq. As they say in Hollywood, and now in the Oval Office, “reality ends here.”

It is not a question of believing, it is the suspension of disbelief. Theater is illusion.
